D20 dice roller
The twenty-sided icosahedral die at the heart of many tabletop role-playing checks, saving throws and attack rolls.
How this die works
A D20 has twenty triangular faces numbered 1 through 20. Each face has a five-percent chance on a fair roll. Many RPG systems use a D20 for ability checks, attack rolls and saving throws, then add a modifier to the result. This roller shows the raw die result; apply your game's modifier separately.
When to use it
Use a D20 for tabletop RPG ability checks, attack rolls, saving throws, initiative and any rule written as 1d20.
A fair digital roll gives each face an equal chance. This roller uses the browser's secure random number generator where available.
