D6 dice roller
The familiar six-sided cube used in board games, classroom activities, travel games and many role-playing systems.
How this die works
A D6 is a cube with six square faces numbered 1 through 6. Each face has the same chance in a fair roll: one in six, or about 16.67%. The average result over many rolls approaches 3.5, although a single roll can be any whole number from 1 to 6.
When to use it
Choose a D6 for classic board games, Ludo-style play, quick classroom number picks, or rules written as 1d6 and 2d6.
A fair digital roll gives each face an equal chance. This roller uses the browser's secure random number generator where available.
